Laser must be properly aligned for the experiment and the optical rail must be on a flat surface.

Adjustment of slit and laser must be proper so that the fringes are bright and distinct.

Laser and measurement unit must be turned off when not in use.

Do not move the laser around when it is on.

Do on mount the laser at eye level.

Surfaces of optical instruments must not be touched or rubbed.
