Welcome to the Pulsed Laser Energetics group. At the School of Physics, research in Pulsed Laser Energetics is primarily conducted at its center Advanced Centre of Research in High Energy Materials (ACRHEM). We are dedicated to advancing the study of high-energy materials and their interactions with intense laser Pulses, focusing on applications materials science. We investigate the dynamics of materials under intense laser irradiation, including the generation of micro-shock waves and hot core plasma.

The School is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for conducting high-energy laser experiments and material characterization.
