Don’t record \(T_1\) and \(T2_2\) unless they have remained steady for at least 5 to 10 minutes.

The tangent to the cooling curve should be done very carefully. An error in \(\frac{dT}{dt}\)
will result in
a wrong result for \(k\).
Error Analysis :
$$ \frac{\Delta k}{k} = \frac{\Delta M}{M} + \frac{\Delta C}{C} + \frac{\Delta L}{L} +
2\frac{\Delta d}{d} + \frac{\Delta \theta}{\theta} +\frac{\Delta t}{t}$$
$$ \Delta k = \left \frac{\Delta M}{M} + \frac{\Delta C}{C} + \frac{\Delta L}{L} +
2\frac{\Delta d}{d} + \frac{\Delta \theta}{\theta} +\frac{\Delta t}{t} \right k $$
